A CDC or Certificate of Design Compliance assesses your building project against the BCA to ensure that it meets all of the requirements of the BCA. Once the report is completed your plans are stamped to show they meet the requirements and are then presented to the council. With this certificate, plans are approved by the council within 10 working days (Instead of 25 days) and you receive a discount from the council that typically covers the cost of the certification.
